Welcome to Westminster Community Charter School
Welcome to Westminster
Community Charter School's website. Buffalo's Best! It's a motto born from the
desire to provide the best school experience we possibly can for our students.
We are a community-wide
collaboration focused on providing our students with the resources to succeed.
Our program started in 1993, when a partnership was formed between the former
Buffalo Public School 68, now Westminster, and M&T Bank.
Over the years, we've built
something special. We've transformed one
of Buffalo's lowest-performing schools into one of the highest. We've renovated
an outdated building, including adding new academic space and a library among many other great achievements.
While we have accomplished
much in recent years, we must continue to look forward. When you want to be the
best, you never rest. We hope that as you learn more about our school, it will
give you a greater sense of our mission at Westminster and our vision for the
future.
