In early December, fourth graders got a visit from the Penn Dixie Paleontological Society.  During the presentation, students learned about rocks, erosion and fossil formation.  Students also got to dig for fossils and were able to keep the Trilobites, Horn Corals and Brachiopods that they uncovered.

Our fifth graders virtually travelled to one of the planets in our Solar System.  Once they arrived the "astronauts" had to write a virtual postcard via computer back to Mission Control.  It was an out-of-this-world experience.
