The Westminster Community Charter School Counseling department's mission is to educate all students in academic, career, and social competencies which will enhance student achievement and advance them in becoming responsible members of society. The counselors here at Westminster Community Charter School, Mr. Marck Abraham and Ms. Deborah Copper implement the American School Counselor's Association National Model of School Counseling. This approach consists of a system of elements that are interrelated and interdependent.

The school counseling program reaches every student and focuses on the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed for successful academic achievement, career development, and personal/social growth. The counselor's time is spent in a way that maximizes the benefits that every student is able to receive from the program. Most importantly, the school counseling program is comprehensive in scope, preventative in design, and developmental in nature.
