Mention the name "Isaiah New" to virtually any teacher or administrator at Westminster, and you're sure to get a smile. And it's easy to see why - class of 2006 valedictorian, member of the band and chorus, and winner of countless awards, Isaiah is a shining example of what a Westminster graduate can achieve. And he's only getting started. During his freshman year at Nichols High School, Isaiah was advanced a level in both math and Spanish - an achievement he credits to his teachers at WCCS. And it's no surprise that he's been named to the honor roll every semester at Nichols. He is currently majoring in medicine at Columbia University. This summer, Isaiah undertook internships with multiple area doctors, such as Dr. Foster from Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo. This began his preparation for his career as a pediatric anesthesiologist. Even with all his activities, Isaiah still makes a point to visit Westminster to help teach Spanish over the summer. No matter where his talents take him, Isaiah will always have a home here.
