Westminster Community Charter School celebrated a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony upon
the completion of their wonderful new school addition. It includes a new office
suite, a new clinic, three new classrooms, an atrium, an all-purpose open space,
a new parking lot, two new playgrounds, a new basketball court, and a new car
turnaround at the main entrance. The children of WCCS Choir and WCCS Band did an
outstanding performance followed with a speech by our Principal, Dr. Yvonne
Minor-Ragan. Everyone was excited to watch M&T Bank's Chairman, Robert Wilmers,
do the ribbon cutting. Also, Superintendent Dr. James
A. Williams, Board of Education President Mary Ruth Kapsiak, Board Member Chris
Jacobs, Board Member Vivian Evans, Board Member Ralph Hernandez, BPS Chief
Financial and Operating Officer Gary Crosby, and Community Superintendents Fran
Wilson and Dr. Joe Melvin along with others commemorated with the Ribbon Cutting
too.
Go WCCS!
